No, there is not a clip that would have fallen off. The Solera fabrics have a channel that slides into the roller bars to secure the fabric in place. I have included a video from the Solera 10' Replacement Awning Fabric # LCV000334335 that goes over the installation of Solera awning fabric and shows what holds it in place. That part begins around the 6:20 mark of the video. view full answer...
For your 2016 Ram 5500, you will need to have some kind of brackets fabricated to install the Reese Low-Profile 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30054.
When the truck's frame is wider than the 5th wheel hitch, brackets need to be fabricated to secure the hitch to both the truck deck and the frame. Per the installation instructions, the hitch needs to be installed through a 1/2 inch steel plate under the deck, the 1/2 inch steel plate must be welded to brackets that are bolted to the truck... view full answer...
The Solera LED Anwing Light Kit part # LC674282 installs into a light cord sewn onto the awning fabric so if you are replacing the fabric you will need to remove the light strip from the old awning fabric and install it into the new fabric if you wish to retain that feature.
I have attached our full selection of replacement fabric below, just filter by size then select your preferred color. I have attached a video below as well to show you how to replace the fabric. view full answer...
The 2014 reflection by Grand Design model 337RLS with a 4-inch bumper you referenced won't work with Curt RV hitch # 13703 if you need something that drops down more than 4 inches. The reason is because the bracket won't go down far enough. See picture I included.
What you may be able to do is have a hitch fabricated using some of our fabrications parts. I have included a link to them for you to view. A local machine shop or a shop that works on trailers should be able to determine what... view full answer...
There actually won't be any bolts needed at all for the hitch plate and pintle hook you mentioned. The reason is that you will weld on the Buyers Products Fabricators Hitch Plate # 3371809027A, and the mounting bolts actually come with the Pintle Hook # C48215. view full answer...
The Super Titan 3000 Weld-on Trailer Hitch w/ 3" Receivers like part # 38023 all require welding. They are universal hitches which require fabrication and modification for installation. In order to achieve the full capacity of the hitch, there will need to be welds throughout for support. view full answer...
To determine what size fabric you need, measure your awning from the center of the left arm to the center of the right arm. Do not order based on the actual fabric width. If you measured from the center of one arm to the center of the other and got 21 feet then you can use the Solera 21' Replacement Awning Fabric # LCV000334450 to replace your old fabric. If you get a different measurement you'll want to take whatever number you get and round up to the nearest foot and get that lwidth awning... view full answer...
The way the Curt Trailer Hitch, # 13703, mounts to an I-Beam frame is that the top bracket on either side of the hitch attaches to the middle, vertical part of the frame. It sounds as if at that point you have 74 inches. If that is the case then this hitch is not long enough. I have included a link to the installation instructions that show where it attaches for you to view.
What you may be able to do is have a hitch fabricated using some of our fabrications parts. I have included a link... view full answer...
You would not be able to mount a winch to a wood bed if you are going to put any kind of load on it. You would need to get the winch mounted to the steel frame somehow. To do this you can use U bolts to attach through the wood bed to the trailer frame, if there is steel frame below the bed. Otherwise, you will want to fabricate a mounting location for your trailer.
Since you were looking at the Bulldog Trailer Hitch Winch Plate, part # BDW20011, you could purchase a Hitch Receiver tube... view full answer...
I have great news! Replacing an awning fabric is fairly straightforward with the right tools and mechanical knowledge. Thankfully, we have all the resources you'll need to complete the task. The Curt Gooseneck Flat Plate part # C65500 is designed to be installed with the Curt Gooseneck Rails part # C61502 that you referenced and is a universal fit rail that would require a bit of fabrication to install on a truck like yours. To install this kit on your truck frame you are going to need to drill some holes in the frame.
By fabrication the cross rails need to be shortened 6-7 inches as well as drilling through the frame if you were to install this in a 2000 Ford F-350 cab and... view full answer...
Although we do offer the mounting kit # 3378530, there are no specific plates we carry capable of handling the same capacity as the # 337PH30. The only option would be the Buyers Products Weld-On Pintle Hitch Plate # 3371809027A. However, this would require custom fabrication to be compatible with the pintle hook. It would also take additional reinforcement to be able to handle the same weight as the hook.
It does not have a specific weight rating, but similar custom-fit Buyers hitch... view full answer...
Since the Ranch Hitch adapter # AM3100 is rated for 24,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 6,000 pounds pin weight, no additional reinforcement is required for use. Generally though when a gooseneck hitch is attached using a fabricated installation and not a custom fit kit then a 1/2 inch steel plate is used, welded and bolted to the truck frame with the hitch bolted and/or welded to the plate.
If the gooseneck installation was fabricated and it is not a custom kit then it would be up... view full answer...
I have the following instructions for Awning Fabric Removal:
1. Remove the drip cap (if equipped) from the end the fabric will be removed from.
2. Extend the awning out approximately 12" and insert cotter pins through both end caps into the shafts on the head assemblies. Note: If the awning is 6' in length it will only need one cotter pin for the drive side end cap.
3. Secure both support arm assemblies by running a zip tie around the outer arm and around the pin on the top of the mount... view full answer...
There are universal style trailer hitches that you may be able to adapt to your 1995 Isuzu Pickup, but, trailer hitch manufacturers do not make a custom fit trailer hitch for that truck.
Universal trailer hitches like the Draw-Tite Weld-on Ultra Frame Hitch, # 41990-07, have mounting brackets that fit a variety of different frame styles and are adjustable to fit different frame widths, but they do require welding to install. Because this is a universal application, it would be up to the... view full answer...
The fades of the Solera awnings like "black fade" mean that when the awning is rolled all the way up it looks black and then fades to white. So the Solera 18" Projection Window Awning Roller # LCV000335002 is indeed a white fade but the awning fabric part # LCV000334383 is actually a black fade. To match you'd instead want the # LCV000334385. view full answer...
